Everything You Need to Know About SculpSure Treatments

For millions of people, with all different body types and body goals—one of the biggest challenges they have is how to get rid of stubborn and unwanted fat. The issue with unwanted fat is that it isn’t just hard to get rid of, but it tends to come back as well.

However, instead of yo-yo dieting and struggling to get that unwanted fat under control, there is a permanent way that you can get rid of that fat for good. This is all possible through a treatment known as SculpSure Body Contouring.

With these treatments, you can safely eliminate unwanted fat cells and make sure that your unwanted fat not only disappears initially, but it stays gone as well. If you haven’t already heard about SculpSure, take a look at this revolutionary treatment, what it can do and how it can help you get the body you have always wanted.

What is SculpSure?

SculpSure is a proven, non-invasive body contouring system that permanently reduces stubborn fat without downtime or surgery. This laser-based treatment targets and reduces unwanted fat and works on both men and women and on a number of different body types.

SculpSure is one of the most talked about body contouring treatments in recent years. This is because this treatment is fast, effective and can be done without disrupting your skin’s surface. In fact, many people get their SculpSure treatments on their lunch break.

This is all possible thanks to a process called lipolysis. This procedure will break fat cells into smaller molecules so that the body can naturally get rid of it. Eventually, other cells will carry the broken-down cells into the bloodstream and then are slowly eliminated from the body, until that unwanted fat is gone for good.

SculpSure Safety

One of the biggest questions that patients have about treatments like SculpSure is whether or not they are safe. There are a lot of medical treatments out there, but not all of these contouring treatments are FDA-cleared and proven to be safe.

In fact, SculpSure is the world’s first FDA-cleared laser device for non-invasive lipolysis. It is approved by the FDA for use on the abdomen, flanks, back, thighs and submental area. Thanks to the brand’s signature submental applicator, you can also get treatments around the chin to help get rid of a stubborn double chin.

This treatment is specifically designed for fat removal and is not a weight loss program. People who are best suited for SculpSure will have a body mass index of 30 or less and is typically not recommended for those with obesity.

How SculpSure Treatments Work

Once you meet with your healthcare provider and decide that SculpSure is right for you, it’s time to get started with your treatment. Your provider will have you either sit down or lie down, depending on the area you are treating, and they will strap on the SculpSure device.

This device will be wrapped around you like a belt and the applicators will deliver a 1060-nanometer dioed laser. This laser can reach temperatures of up to 116.6°F, which is hot enough to melt away fat.

The device will fit snugly but comfortably, and once you are ready, you will begin your 25-minute treatment. Here is what to expect!

  • First you will feel a cooling sensation. This cooling sensation is applied to combat the rising temperature of fat cells and to keep your and your skin comfortable.
  • Throughout your treatment, the machine will switch between cooling and warming cycles.
  • SculpSure will use targeted laser energy to heat up your fat cells and melt them away, but you won’t feel hot.
  • Ultimately, you may experience some cooling sensations and some periodical tingling, but overall, the treatment will not hurt or be uncomfortable. In fact, some people take a nap during their procedure.

Once you are done, your body gets to work handling the rest. While you may have slight swelling, redness or tingling in the treatment area, these feelings will typically resolve on their own after a few hours.

Your body’s system will start to flush out these fat cells and after 6-12 weeks. After that time, you can determine if you need additional treatments to get the results that you want.

SculpSure vs. CoolSculpting

When most people hear about SculpSure, one of their first questions is “How does this compare to CoolSculpting?”

CoolSculpting was one of the first body-contouring treatments of its kind to help superficially treat and remove unwanted fat. Similar to SculpSure, CoolSculpting destroys fat cells through temperature manipulation.

However, while CoolSculpting uses a process called cryolipolysis which freezes fat cells to death, SculpSure uses heat to melt them away. This isn’t the only difference between the two treatments either.

While CoolSculpting is designed for areas of the body that have “pinchable fat” on them, SculpSure can be used on both pinchable and non-pinchable fat. Sculpsure also tends to require less time for the same treatment—making it a popular option for many busy individuals who desire lasting results.

Here are a few other reasons why you should choose SculpSure over CoolSculpting when you need to get rid of unwanted fat.

  • While SculpSure and CoolSculpting provide similar results, SculpSure is more affordable per treatment.
  • SculpSure can treat up to four different areas at once, while CoolSculpting can only treat one area at a time.
  • SculpSure does not use any vacuum suction, it instead uses flat applicators. When you use CoolSculpting, there is a vacuum mechanism which can lead to side effects like redness, bruising, tenderness and swelling at the treatment site.
  • SculpSure is a painless treatment and requires virtually no downtime or side effects. CoolSculpting on the other hand, has a bit more downtime, is more invasive and comes with more potential side effects.

With all of these outstanding benefits, it is easy to see why SculpSure is becoming the most preferred fat loss treatment on the market right now.

What to Expect With SculpSure Results

Every person is unique and because of this, SculpSure treatments may impact different bodies differently. With the SculpSure treatment, fat cells are permanently eliminated and will not regenerate. In fact, studies show that up to 24% of fat cells in a single treated area.

Patients will typically start to see results as early as six weeks after treatment. During this time, the body will begin to evacuate the destroyed fat cells. These fat cells will be eliminated through the lymphatic system and slowly be removed from the body completely.

Most patients will require a series of treatments to achieve their full results, but some results can be seen after a single treatment. While results will be gradual, optimal results are typically seen 12 weeks after a patient’s final treatment.

Although SculpSure is designed with fat reduction in mind, it is important to have realistic expectations with this treatment. This treatment doesn’t provide dramatic weight-loss results liposuction does. It is meant to get rid of smaller, stubborn pockets of body fat and provide toning and contouring to these areas.

How to Optimize Your SculpSure Results

After you start losing that unwanted fat through your SculpSure treatment, it is important to make sure that you are taking extra steps to optimize your SculpSure treatment, so you get the most of your investment and work on getting the body of your dreams.

Manage Your Expectations

Keep in mind that SculpSure is intended for patients who maintain a healthy lifestyle and it is not the same thing as invasive procedures like liposuction. Before you get started, make sure that you have realistic expectation on what SculpSure can and cannot do for you.

This treatment is meant for fat reduction, not dramatic weight loss and is best used on areas that are resistant to diet and exercise. It will treat up to 25% of fat cells in one area, so it doesn’t mean that all of the fat in one area will be completely eliminated.

It’s also important to remember that you should be patient when it comes to seeing your results.

Schedule and Show Up to Your Follow Up Appointments

Many people need follow up appointments to obtain their desired results. The professional administering your treatment will give you realistic expectations on the number of treatments you need based on where you are starting and what area you need treated.

If you need follow up appointments, make sure that you schedule and show up to these appointments to continue to maximize your results.

Take Care of Your Body

Once you are done with your SculpSure treatments, it is important to make sure that you maintain a healthy diet, continue to exercise and take care of your body. It is important to avoid things that could lead to significant weight gain.

If you continue to do this, you will continue to see outstanding results and maintain that toned and beautiful physique you’ve been looking for.
